Prayers

About this event

Prayers is a San Diego-based electronic rock duo known for pioneering “cholo goth,” a distinctive fusion of darkwave, goth rock, synth-pop and Mexican-American street culture. Founded by Leafar Seyer and Dave Parley, the project pairs moody synthesizers, throbbing electronic rhythms and introspective vocals with a bold visual identity. Their catalog includes the albums *SD Killwave*, *Young Gods* and *Baptism of Thieves*, along with collaborations connected to Christian Death and other alternative artists. For listeners drawn to atmospheric, boundary-pushing rock and dark electronic music, Prayers offers an immersive performance rooted in self-expression and genre-defying creativity.
