About this event
Over the Rhine is an Ohio-based folk-rock duo known for intimate, atmospheric songwriting shaped by Karin Bergquist’s expressive vocals and Linford Detweiler’s piano-led arrangements. Their music blends folk, rock, Americana, and gospel influences, creating performances that feel both reflective and warmly communal. This Pittsburgh appearance, billed as An Acoustic Christmas with Over The Rhine, brings a seasonal dimension to the duo’s richly textured sound. The group’s current work continues to revisit hymns and gospel songs, connecting their long recording history with a reverent, contemporary sensibility.
